Super Vision Sunday 2020

Feb 2, 2020    Gary Moritz    Nehemiah 6:15

Each year on Superbowl Sunday, we do a stand-alone talk that focuses on what God accomplished in the past year and what He has for us next. On a day that many people in the world will stop to focus on a game, we want to stop and fix our focus on God’s game plan for our church.

Most people go through life seeing the world through a “foggy lens” or distracted by peripheral things; however, God desires His children to clearly see His vision for His Kingdom which will never fail and will ultimately outlast us. In 2020, we are looking at the beginning of a "decade of destiny" for our church that will bring about future Kingdom growth for all generations.

The goal of following Jesus is to do what He commanded us to do as we obey His word. Last year we accomplished many of the goals we believe God set before us; but we have much more to do.

“The reflections of the heart belong to mankind, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. 3Commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be established. 9A person’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.” ---Proverbs 16:1, 3, 9 (CSB, Old Testament)

Nehemiah was a great finisher. He was a leader who saw the need and trusted God to finish the vision strong through him.
