This week's verse: Joshua 1:9 “... Be strong and brave. ... I (that’s God) will be with you everywhere you go.”

Questions to Discuss with Your Child:

1. If someone asked you what “sin” is, what would you tell them? Ideas: wrong choices, disobeying, being mean, breaking rules, not loving God or others, etc.

2. What do you think is icky and sticky about sin?Ideas: We can’t get rid of it without Jesus; it hurts our friendship with God; it hurts us, others, and the whole world; etc.

3. Did Jesus ever sin? No.

4. What do you think made Jesus want to clean up all our sin? Ideas: He loves us, He wants us to be friends with God, He wants to heal our hearts, etc.
