This week's verse: Matthew 1:23 “... they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Questions to Discuss with Your Child:

1. What do you think forgiving means? Ideas: when someone does something wrong, we choose to let it go instead of staying angry, being mean to them, trying to get even, etc.

2. What do you think is good about forgiving others? Ideas: when we forgive, we show love, feel better inside, and make better choices; we’re living like Jesus, etc.

3. Sometimes people think that they’re bad. Sometimes people think they’re good. What do you think Jesus says about them? Ideas: Jesus says they’re His friend; He says they’re forgiven; He’s with them; etc.
