Questions to Discuss with Your Child:

1. What kinds of things do you think break people’s hearts? When people hurt them; when they do a bunch of sin and bad stuff; when they feel lonely, sad, or afraid; etc.

2. What kinds of things do you think people do to make themselves feel better when their heart is broken? Ideas: Play with a friend or a pet, watch videos, talk to a friend, try to pretend they’re okay, cry, eat cookies, etc.

3. When our heart is broken, only Jesus can really fix it. How can we let Him know we want Him to fix it?

Ideas: ask Him to live in our heart and heal it, talk to Him about it, etc.
