Today's Point: You Have Power to Never Be Alone.

Today's Bible Verse: Acts 18:9-11 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! 10 For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.” 11 So Paul stayed there for the next year and a half, teaching the word of God.

Questions to Discuss with your Child:

o Why did Paul have to travel around so much to tell others about Jesus? (He had to share the

good news in person, there were no TVs, phones, or social media)

o Why would some people get angry when Paul tried to tell them about Jesus? (Because it went

against everything they already believed)

o How did the Holy Spirit empower Paul to keep sharing Jesus with others? (By reminding Paul in

a vision that God is always with him and by surrounding Paul with other followers of Jesus to

help him throughout his travels)

o Do you think it’s important to hang out with other followers of Jesus? Why or why not?
