Questions you can use to discuss the lesson with your child:

1. What does it feel like when a friend or family member lets you down by hurting your feelings or breaking a promise?

2. Who is always there to be your truest friend and never let you down? Jesus

3. What do you think of when you hear the word “lonely”? Ideas: No one loves you, likes you, wants to play with you, you’re alone, etc.

4. What do you think a kid needs when they feel lonely? Ideas: Jesus, love, care, friends, kindness,

someone to listen and play with, etc.

5. What would you like to say to a kid or a grown- up who feels lonely?
