Looking Beyond: We’re Not Done Yet

Pastor Pencil walked us through 1 Chronicles 29 and Psalm 78 to show how King David ended his life not with a speech of his own accomplishments, but with a humble prayer for the future generation. When David looked back at fifty years of God's faithfulness on their property, he recognized that everything they had came from God's hand and that legacy building always begins and ends with prayer. Here is the encouraging truth he left us with: our lives are just a single chapter in a much bigger story, and we are not running this race alone. God is still faithful, and He is calling us to fix our eyes on Jesus, run with endurance, and faithfully pass the baton to those who come after us.
