This week's verse: Romans 10:9 ... believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,

Questions to Discuss with Your Child:

1. Everyone except Jesus sins. What do you think that means? Ideas: everyone has made choices that hurt others, that disobey God, that are unloving or selfish, etc.

2. Jesus has all the righteousness. We have a lot of sin. Did Jesus say trade, or no trade? Trade!

3. When do we get to have Jesus’ righteousness? When we believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and we choose to follow Him.

4. What do you think made Jesus want to trade His righteousness for our sin? Ideas: He loves us, wants us to be God’s friends, wants us to be forgiven, He wants to help us, etc.
