This week's verse: Romans 10:9 ... believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead.

Questions you can use to discuss the lesson with your child:

1. What makes our spiritual hearts dead and sick inside? Sin, wrong choices, etc.

2. What do you think Jesus wants to do when sin makes our spiritual hearts feel sick and dead? Ideas: heal our hearts, forgive us, etc.

3. What do you think it feels like when Jesus makes your spiritual heart alive again?

4. What’s good about Jesus healing our spiritual hearts? Ideas: we can be close to God; learn to live God’s way; feel and share God’s love; etc.
