This week's verse: Romans 15:19 ... He has given me the power of the Holy Spirit.

Questions you can use to discuss the lesson with your child:

1. How is our heart like the tent of meeting when we follow Jesus? God’s Spirit goes inside our heart like it went inside the tent of meeting.

2. What did Jesus do so the Holy Spirit can live inside of our hearts? Ideas: He died to take the punishment for our sins and came back to life. He takes our sin away when we follow Him, etc.

3. How close do you think God wants to be to you?

4. How do we show God we want to be close to Him? We choose Jesus as our leader and best friend, we ask Jesus to forgive us, etc.
